emu On Day 1 Paul Carter gave his keynote address at the City West campus. In the early evening DIA/GRAM opened at Liverpool Street Gallery (an exhibition of works by all the speakers). On Day 2 we met at 9am, each speaker addressed the audience. Post-talk discussions ensued. Linda washed up the coffee cups. Teri packed up the tech things. That night we had dinner at Tee Chows in Moonta Street, China Town. Steve wrote the menu. We met at EMU (electronic music unit) early Sunday morning (Day 3). Sound artists and theorists talked about surface and sound. After that some people went to the Botanic Gardens, where Paul Carter talked about a work he is designing for the grounds. In the afternoon we all met at Hossein and Angela Valamanesh's home. We sat in the garden and talked and listened.
