| Georgy Downey is an Adelaide-born writer/artist. She is currently completing a Masters Degree by Research at the School of Art, University of South Australia on the subject of expatriate South Australian women artists 1914-1970. Other activities include committee work on the forthcoming Art Association of Australia national conference, boxing, meeting new people and surviving the bleak Adelaide winters.
